This is less than perfect if the tablet is supposed to be sometimes used in a "linux desktop" or a "linux server" role, which requires being able to operate indefinitely without any need for periodic cumbersome maintenance, such as battery recharging. A few days ago I upgraded my laptop to one running Windows 10 Home edition, 64-bit, and I encountered problems. I copied the 'Train 2' folder across as I have done previously but when I opened the program it didn't see my serial number so only opened as a Demo version (I don't recall this ever happening when I've switched machines in the past, although the last time was nearly 5 years ago so memory fades). No worries I thought, just run the installation disc and insert my serial number when prompted, but when I tried to run the disc I received an error message telling me Train Dispatcher is not compatible with 64-bit systems, which is odd because it runs on a laptop and a PC with Win 7 64-bit, and it will run on my Win 10 laptop but only in Demo mode.
Can those of you running Windows 10 64-bit offer me any suggestions to get me out of this bind please?
